CRAFTOUR Scientific Conference
Tracks4Crafts partners in CRAFTOUR - an European initiative to safeguard, support, and modernise traditional craftsmanship through innovation, research, and community engagement.

On 29 January 2026 CRAFTOUR organises a full‑day scientific conference featuring interactive roundtables, keynote speeches (like the one by Prof. Gunnar Almevik from the University of Göteborg), and research‑paper presentations around CRAFTOUR’s five key pillars.

Roundtable 1: Histories of value(s) and the governance of culture
Roundtable 2: Digital imaginaries and crafts in transition
Roundtable 3: Organisational transformation and resilience

Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy posters, photographs, and films
dedicated to crafts throughout the event.

Whether attending in person or online, this is a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, network, and explore the future of crafts in Europe.
